IN GENERAL our furniture has been
developed with lots of attention paid to its "usability".
This accent on the practical should give you generous comfort
and satisfaction. In return, to get the best from your furniture,
it must be used sensibly. Typical examples of what would be
considered "non sensible" and therefore void warranty
are :
- sitting on the arms
- Tilting chairs on their back legs
- "Dragging" heavy lounges (lift from underneath)
- Leave/position furniture in direct sunlight or UV rays.
- Putting "hot" things on flat surfaces (they
will burn or leave marks)
- Jumping children or "heavyweight" free falling
into chairs.
- Dirt, dust, shoes and domestic animals on furniture (particularly
leather lounges)
- It is also "sensible" to dust/vacuum all surfaces
regularly (to limit damage caused by usage) and then wipe
over with a soft cloth (moistened with a little soapy water)
Remember this furniture, unlike veneer of plasticized copies,
needs a little "physical work"- polishing - to
look it's best.
ON DELIVERY you may notice slight imperfections in the leather
or in the Palmwood. Do not be concerned, be assured that these
"natural marks/shadings" have been inspected before
the product leaves our factory. They are acceptable by stringent
professional furniture standards as the visual distinction
between the aesthetic appeal of natural coverings and their
synthetic equivalents.
TRANSIT DAMAGE is another matter. Whilst it is obvious we
don't "plastic wrap", we still deliver clean, undamaged
goods to all the retail stores or to the designated carrier.
They are signed for as "in good order and condition".
"Damages" as they occur after this point are not
the responsibility of Pacific Green. Be vigilant and inspect
your delivery for breakages, scratches, gouges or damage prior
to acceptance from the delivery carrier. If there is any damage
ring and report or mark it on the carriers paperwork. If you
sign for delivery without qualification, then you accept that
the goods are in good order and condition.
Please remember 1) SERVICE CALLS after delivery are available
but in line with industry practice a service fee will be charged.
2) TRANSPORTATION COSTS Pacific Green is not responsible for
freight or transportation costs to or from our factory for
warranty or service.
